Carbo Taxol 3 week cycle experience?

Hey folks,

Most of the carbo-taxol regimens I've read about appear to start with carbo-taxol, then weekly taxol. I'm getting carbo-taxol in a single large dose then will get two weeks rest. And I'll do this 4 times. Have any of you have the latter regimen? What were your side effects like and how long did it last?

I just finished up chemoradiation with cisplatin (50mg/m2). I was sick for 11 days for each of the two doses. I was pretty sick the first cycle but the second cycle was managed better with round the clock meds.

My doctor said the carbo-taxol should be easier but I'm skeptical. Your thoughts would be much appreciated.
